mediapesan.com | Solidarity and concern for others continues to resonate among nature-loving students throughout South Sulawesi.
The Regional Coordination Center (PKD) for Nature Lovers Students (Mapala) held a “Fundraising Action to Care for Victims of Natural Disasters” which hit the Wajo, Sidrap and Luwu areas of South Sulawesi Province.
“We are taking part in helping our brothers and sisters who are affected by natural disasters, both landslides and floods in the Wajo, Sidrap and Luwu areas,” said Alif, Coordinator of PKD Mapala for South Sulawesi.
This humanitarian action has started on May 7 2024, with the aim of collecting funds to help victims of natural disasters.
The funds collected will be distributed directly to those affected.
We will deliver donations directly to the disaster location in Luwu Regency, Belopa District, South Senga Village.
This village is one of the most affected, and some areas are still isolated.
The people there still need volunteers and other assistance, said Alif.
It is hoped that the spirit of togetherness and concern from these nature-loving students can ease the burden on victims of natural disasters in South Sulawesi. *** (pl)
